The purpose of the Lone Star Parkinson Society (LSPS), a 501c3 non-profit organization, is to improve the
awareness and understanding of Parkinson's Disease to people with Parkinson's, their spouses, and families through support group meetings, educational symposiums, and social gatherings so they may learn
to "Ease the Burden of Parkinson's" and live a more enthusiastic lifestyle, knowing they are not alone in their
fight against Parkinson's Disease.
The Lone Star Parkinson Society hosts support group meetings the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. Our meetings are open to individuals with
Parkinson's Disease, spouses, caregivers, and friends.
We also welcome volunteers or
anyone interested in learning more about this disease.
